I didn’t know what asexuality was till now, not sure what to think about it, but I have nothing negative to say about it. Every person is diffrent, just because someone does not feel an attraction to another man or woman, to me, does not mean there is something wrong with them. I menas they choose to be alone I guess. Or would prefer, instead of a sexual friendship, they are just looking for a friend or life friend a guess you could say. I am sorry I don’t know much about it. I shall look into it more, or maybe you could give me some insight. Thanks for opening my eyes…….. Mike
I have never really thought about what being asexual meant. Very interesting that although only a small 1% are this way that they have never been sexually attracted to anyone male or female. It will be interesting reading more about this subject so that maybe I can understand it better. Regardless of whatever a person’s sexual orientation or preference for that matter, I hate that ignorant people resort to violence against other humans because of it. It is never acceptable to hurt any one. The offenders should be punished for their crimes.
Wow! At 38 years of age, I think I finally know WHERE I fit in! I’ve been married, had three children-and am now divorced. A big part of our failed marriage was the fact that I have always had a very low sex drive. I fear being alone, so I often MADE myself have sex with my husband, but now understand why we failed. I just don’t feel it, ya know? I knew I wasn’t lesbian, I’m just not that way. I thought I was abnormal for many years, just not wanting sex-now I know why. THIS FINALLY FITS! THANK YOU!!!! I love my three children, but would be happy being without a sexual partner for the remainder of my life. Ironically, my female roommate has stated much the same thing: she too has raised three children but is divorced-and she too has always had a low sex drive. This has been a real eye-opener for us! We never knew there was an actual orientation for people like us!
It is amazing, I didn’t though about this “label”, I have been ASEXUAL … and love it…! Since very youg age I thought it was such a waste of enery, and would rather utilizided in a better cause… I also found our it was call SUBLIMATION…?
