{"id":192,"date":"2012-08-10T02:22:33","date_gmt":"2012-08-10T06:22:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/juliesondradecker.com\/?p=192"},"modified":"2012-08-21T17:00:20","modified_gmt":"2012-08-21T21:00:20","slug":"results-of-querying-bad-fairy-2012","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/juliesondradecker.com\/?p=192","title":{"rendered":"Results of Querying: Bad Fairy 2012"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>I know 2012 isn&#8217;t over yet, but I have to stop querying agents for <em>Bad Fairy<\/em>.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Happily, it isn&#8217;t a depressing reason, though (like it was <a href=\"https:\/\/juliesondradecker.com\/?p=64\">the last time<\/a>).\u00a0 It&#8217;s because I&#8217;ve been offered representation.<\/p>\n<p>I don&#8217;t want to go into detail because I still have some decisions to make before I sign with an agency, and I have a bit of a dilemma I don&#8217;t want to discuss publicly, but I will have specifics ready for you soon.<\/p>\n<p>In any case I thought I&#8217;d show you this year&#8217;s track record so far, since it stops here.<\/p>\n<p>Agents queried: 20.<\/p>\n<p>Query rejections: 10.<\/p>\n<p>The rest were not rejections.<\/p>\n<p>One was a partial request that turned into a rejection after 100 pages.\u00a0 That agent had puzzling feedback which I won&#8217;t share here.<\/p>\n<p>There were also three full manuscript requests.\u00a0 Ffffffffffff.<\/p>\n<p>Once I actually sign a contract, I&#8217;ll share more . . . and I&#8217;ll be sure to keep everyone in the loop on what happens next.
