The main courses and heavy eatin’:
Bagels (squishy, not toasted), Boca® Crumbles (Boca® vegetarian product); cereal (Puffins® and MultiGrain Cheerios® are my favorites), Chik Nuggets (Morningstar Farms® vegetarian product); Chinese noodles, egg drop soup, eggs (scrambled or hard-boiled), grilled cheese sandwiches, Japanese stir-fry or rice, lo mein, mushroom soup, oatmeal, pancakes, pasta (penne rigate is my favorite shape), pizza (homemade or just cheese with mushrooms, not too thick crust), quiche, shribble soup, SpaghettiOs®, sushi (vegetarian, especially cucumber, avocado, carrot, or zucchini; also like cooked egg sushi), most stuff with tofu, Tofurky® (I like the slices), tomato soup, Veggie Hot Dogs (Morningstar Farms® vegetarian product), and waffles.
The sides and afterthoughts:
Bread (preferably homemade), cheese (Swiss, Gouda, Laughing Cow®, and Velveeta® are my favorites), french fries, macaroni and cheese, muffins, and potatoes (mashed or baked).
The veggies:
Artichokes, broccoli, carrots, cauliflower, corn, edamame, mushrooms, sweet pickles, and salad.
The fruits:
Apples, apricots (dried), bananas, cantaloupe, grapefruit, grapes, lemons, Mandarin oranges, pineapple, pomegranates, and strawberries.
The snacks:
Doritos® chips, Goldfish® crackers, granola bars (chewy rather than crunchy), popcorn, pretzels (commercial OR homemade soft), Pringles® potato chips, and Wheat Thins® crackers.
The sweets:
Brownies, cake (vanilla or lemon), cookies (preferably homemade), ice cream (cookie dough, vanilla, mint chocolate chip), pie (lemon meringue, key lime, apple), pudding (tapioca, vanilla, butterscotch), shortbread, and stroopwafels.
The candy:
Cadbury Creme Eggs®, caramel, Caramello® Bars, chocolate (white or milk), anything green-apple flavored, jellybeans (I actually like the cheapie ones better than Jelly Bellies®, but I like both), Lemonheads®, licorice (black or red), Milky Way® Candy Bars, mints (especially chocolate after-dinner mints and pastel after-dinner mints), Nerds®, Pez®, Pixy Stix®, Reese’s® Peanut Butter Cups, Starburst®, SweetTarts®, and Twix® Bars.
The beverages:
Cocoa (hot), coffee, Crystal Light®, Diet Coke®, eggnog, grape juice, grapefruit juice, Jolt Cola®, orange juice, Slush Puppies (Blue Raspberry flavor), and soy milk.
The other stuff:
Bread dough, cardamom-flavored things (it’s a spice in the ginger family), cookie dough, eggroll wrappers (yes, just the wrapper!), peanut butter, peanuts, and Ranch dip.
THE STUFF I HATE WITH A PASSION:
Bean sprouts, boiled peanuts, carrot cake, Chinese vegetables (most), cream cheese (though icing made from it is usually all right), dark chocolate, garlic (can handle garlic flavoring, but pieces of garlic = ick), meatloaf (well, I don’t eat any meat), nuts in bread and most candy, olives, onions (can handle onion-flavored things, but not onions), peppers, and tomatoes (I like ketchup, tomato soup, and tomato sauce, but not tomatoes themselves!). I am also allergic to cinnamon.
“(I like ketchup, tomato soup, and tomato sauce, but not tomatoes themselves!)”
I am exactly the same way. Tomatoes themselves make me cry.
Not everyone takes the time to write down all their favorite foods like you did.
I would like to know more of the story behind your vegetarianism.
