It’s a personal essay about how other people’s obsession with changing me has actually been more of an impediment to my happiness than anything these folks can attribute to my lifestyle and inclinations.
You know more about why you are criticised about this than i do. Personally, i am envious, having screwed up my life and the lives of several others thru my societally-supported cravings & desires for the “a’s” you list. 100% failure, at that.
